Medical Thai Massage

Why I offer Massage

I have experienced many types of treatments for injury, aches, pains and general wellbeing. Acupuncture, reiki, sports massage, deep tissue massage, swedish massage, Thai massage....

Some experiences were excruciating, some soothing, some magical and some... interesting!

I taught myself techniques to massage friends and family because it feels good and relieves stress and pain. I often massaged myself to relieve muscles sore from running, climbing, swimming, racing.

Touch is one of the first senses we experience when we are born, it brings us back to our bodies and helps the brain become aware of areas that need healing or care.

I knew I wanted to train as a masseur and initially learned deep tissue massage, then I found Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (thankyou Jill Blandford) and knew I had found 'The One' in my experience there is nothing quite like it. it is a holistic treatment that does far more than treat the muscles.
